$300 for a veil! It's tooling - they have to be kidding!

I almost fell over when I saw how much veil's were! I don't get it! It is just tooling! Anyone make their own veil or know where to get one cheaper!
I can't bring myself to spend that on a veil!

I got my veil custom made for me out of english silk tulle for under $100. Check out my rave on the vendor.

Re: $300 for a veil! It's tooling - they have to be kidding!

belive it or not, when I bought my gown, it was the designer's trunk show. anyway- if i bought a veil that day I would have gotten a 20% dicount or something like that.

so i was trying them on, and the one I loved and when i found out the price it was like $1,000. OMG!

I have to say I am insane and I spent $250 for my veil. Granted it has beading scalloped along the edges and it matches my dress to a T, but still it was too much $$$$ and I should have gave it a little more thought.

Gotta put in my vote for Barron's in Tri County also. I got a fingertip veil with blusher and rhinestones for about $70.

I just ordered my cathedral length veil (120") from Barron's in Tri-County for $90. I have seen 108" ones for $60 on the internet.

I paid $200 for a custom made elbow length veil and blusher with pearls and crystals. I love it and it was worth every penny.

It's the first booth in this Indoor Flea Market in Levittown called Tri-County. It's on Hempstead Turnpike. I got my head piece there, but the veil on ebay for less, but the guy at Barron's was really helpful.

In the Tri Coutny flea market on Heampstead Turnpiek inlevitown.

I got my veil from veilshop.com- very reasonable. I had the comb removed & loops put on, at barron's.

The one I tried on at the brial shop was also about $300!
