Question @Taking All Pictures before Ceremony (long)
Our ceremony is being held at the reception hall, so we will be taking all pictures beforehand. There is a wedding at our hall in the afternoon, so we need to go somewhere else to take the majority of the pix. I am not taking pix at my parent`s house. So what I need is recommendations on an outdoor and indoor (in case of bad weather) place that we can take pictures. Also, how do you arrange the limo pickup of your bridal party and parents? Thanks!!!!

We will be taking pictures before the ceremony too. I want to enjoy as much of my wedding as possible. Where is your wedding going to be I might have some suggestions nearby.

We're going to Old Westbury Gardens
We choose to do our pictures there as just in case it rains you can also take pictures in teh mansion inside (and of course the grounds are gorgeous!). FYI - the early you leave the Gardens the less money it costs you. It has nothing to do with how much actual time you spend their.

Question for Angie
Thank you for the info. Now that I know you can take pictures inside, I will definitely look into it as a possibility. What do you mean by 'the earlier you leave, the less it costs'?

Question for Angie
Well my church is at 3:00 so by the time we get there and all my pictures will probably not be done until about 6:00. If I leave by 6:00 it costs $350. If I were to leave by 5:00 the price is less (I think $300 but not sure). Leaving by 4:00 is even cheaper. If I were to stay until 7:00 it would cost $450. It apparently had nothing to do with what time i showed up or the actual amount of time I stayed as they only let 3 brides there a day. It all depends on the actual time you leave. Weird. Didn't thrill me that they do it this way but for you I think it is a plus as I guess you would be leaving pretty early. :)

Ours is at the Watermill. I don't know where your comming from but I saw someone suggested Old Westbury gardens. Very nice but I think they charge around $200. Seems like a lot to me. If you live in Suffolk county like me, try the cutting fields arboritum(sp) they don't charge at all. If you guys like the beach Jones & Robert Moses are both beautiful. I bet you could find some nice spots at Eisenhower park too. Good luck and enjoy your day!Welcome New Vendors
