Re: anyone order there invites online?

Well, I used a vendor, Dina's By Invitation Only , she sells for one of the companies that make invites. The one I wanted wasn't even in the 'new' books yet so she had a sample sent to me. She took care of the ordering and I was thrilled b/c she has like 18 years of experience and I have none. She even proofread our wording before we ordered to look for possible mistakes/glitches ahead of time. We even got a proof before they were printed, it was an email and not shown ON the actual invite, but none the less, it was our wording in the font we had chosen. She also offers a discount (I think 25%) something you likely won't find online on your own. Our $600 invite order was under $500. They were also back within a week of OKing the proof. Send away for samples by all means...but it may end up better/cheaper to find a vendor to order them in the long run...peace of mind/costs....and you might even find something you love that you can do yourself for cheaper!

Re: anyone order there invites online?

I ordered my invites online just a week and half ago from www.theamericanwedding.com. They have been so accomodating to me. I called their 1-800 # like 15 times before I ordered and they were able to mail me invite samples, color samples and they even faxed me a long list of script styles. They even were able to assist me in my wording and sent me a corrected version for my approval with suggested changes. They deliver the invites in about 15-20 days after your order is placed. I am very happy that I chose to work with this company because my invites including all additional items and shipping cost me $230 for 100 sets. I cant wait to get them!

Good luck!

I used them too! They were very helpful, had friendly service and my entire order was correct. They even have a 'wedding etiquette expert' review your order before it ships to make sure it complies with traditional etiquette if you want. They sent me a free tote bag, which came in handy for all of my wedding paraphernalia. I recommend using them to anyone.

I got them from www.theinviteplace.com
They arrived in just 2 days. One of the letters on the invitation was not printed correctly so they sent us another batch 2 days later and they were perfect.

Re: anyone order there invites online?

I sort of ordered online - I used a vendor who is located in St. Louis, so we never met in person but she sent me samples. I loved the invitations I ordered from her and she also did my envelope calligraphy: Calligraphy Lady

Re: anyone order there invites online?

I ordered mine from Jean M and I LOVE them. I didn't see a sample ahead of time (I can't belive I took a risk like that), but they came out better than I had imagined. If you're thinking of ordering from there and can't get a sample, FM me. I can send you one of our extras.

Re: anyone order there invites online?

We ordred on line and it was a wonderful expereince. I would email her any question I had and she was very good at gettign rigth back to me, I also got a 35% discount for the retail price and most of the vendors I went to see in person on LI would only give me 20% off the retail, so I really got a great price. We also got a proof of our actual invitation sent PDF to us. ANd she was able to get the manufacture to change soem things onthe invite that we requested.

I highly, highly reccomend her also no tax cause she is in like Arizon or Colorado, I forget.

Anyway here is her info:
