So long, farewell, auf wiedersehn, goodbye!!
wow wow wow girls...It's my turn to say goodbye (for now). On Monday I will come back to you all a changed woman, but I leave you also having been changed. This whole process has been such an amazing and eye-opening experience for me, and meeting all of you fabulous women, and exchanging stories, laughs, cries, ideas, and drama has been one of the BIGGEST highlights of this crazy year.
You girls have been through ti all with me...the good, the bad, and the ugly LOL and your support, kindness, and wonderful ideas and input has meant more than you know. I hope I have done, and will try to continue to do, the same for you all.
So, many many thanks to you all. I guess the 11 years I waited was so that WE would all be ready at the same time. I always believe fate has a reason for things...this wonderful group from LIW is MY reason! And to my gurrls...thank God I found you!
I look forward to seeing some of you at the ceremony, and some after and can't wait to come back with pics.
Finally, I wanted to especially thank my Somethingblu. Unfortunately she was able to help me through more than one crisis (but only b/c she had experienced the same) I looked to her for poise and guidance...and always received it. This song reminds me of you...thank you!

Wow Jess, yo no merezco tanto. How did you manage to make me cry so much?  Really, so unworthy.
I'm sorry that I was able to identify with almost every single issue you went through (because like you said, I went through it) but I'm honored to have been there for you. I'm humbled by your opinion of me. I'm relieved that it's almost all over for you.
Sunday will be the culmination of your single-hood and the commencement of a happily ever after that you have waited so patiently for. I can tell you that marriage is not perfect and you're not always happy. It's not a fairy tale. But rather a wonderful journey with your best friend. A place where you can be as vulnerable, happy, sad, real as you want and not think twice because your partner knows you better than you know yourself and loves you more than you could ever love you.
Enjoy the bliss that comes with newlywed joy. Enjoy YOUR day. Enjoy and don't let anyone take that away.
My advice, mi querida amiga, is to breathe (simple, I know, but trust me you'll need to remember), smile (always and often!), be as gracious as possible in the face of disappointment and remember that nothing could tarnish the fact that you are marrying Leo. Mishaps are bound to happen, it's how you choose to react once they do occur that determines whether you think back on your day lovingly and wistfully or regretfully. Live to never regret. Nothing is important...only you and Leo. Que se joda todo lo demas!
