Donation Favor Wording

My favor will be a donation to the Susan G. Komen foundation (my mom passed away from B. Cancer.) Any suggestions on how to word the paper that states a donation has been made? I don't want to make it too depressing.

We are delighted that you are able to join us on this special day. As a sign of our appreciation and in lieu of traditional favors, we have made a donation to the
National Multiple Sclerosis Society (in Honor/Memory of xxxx).

We are planning on donatiing to this foundation also...do they supply you with those cards or ribbons, or are all of these examples personal ones? They are all so beautiful!

The Donation favor wording is should be the awareness. I was thinking of putting a purple ribbon either printed above it or with actual ribbon but my color is lavendar. Would it seem too planned, like I had a cancer awareness themed wedding .
