REGISTRIES: Name some nice place(s) to register

I really don't know what to do registry wise for my bridal shower.

2 years ago FH and I had a huge housewarming/propsal/engagement party and we got soooooo much stuff.

Now I don't know what or wear to register because we really don't need alot of things.

We do need bedding and bathroom things but that is just about it.

We went to fortunoff and came out with like 10 things on our registry- I thought it was a total waste!!

Any suggestions

Re: REGISTRIES: Name some nice place(s) to register

Why not do a honeymoon registry, and keep a small registry at fortunoff.

Bed Bath and Beyond might be good for you or Macy's just for bedding/bath stuff.

I just register at Bed Bath and Beyond and Macys yesterday.
Oh my god, it took longer than I thought, but we had fun.

I went to fortunoff with Fh yesterday and I wish I had left him home!!!!

He wanted to scan everything thing- just for scanning sake.
We left with less than 20 things on the list.

Re: REGISTRIES: Name some nice place(s) to register

What about doing a few different things online, so that you could really just get things you want/need? Or I know you can register at amazon.com and homedepot.com, which might be helpful. I can't take credit for these ideas, though, that's LIW info!

Re: REGISTRIES: Name some nice place(s) to register

I would def. do like BBB or Macys too....my FH's bro just got engaged too and they already have everything so I told them they should just register for whatever they wish!! If they want to upgrade pots and pans go for it! Want new plates do it!! It's your dream registry so go for the gusto and register for absolute things you need and in your case things you wished you had!! Hope you have tons of fun!

Re: REGISTRIES: Name some nice place(s) to register

If you already have most of your housewares stuff, places like Macys and Fortunoff will have everything you need, so why not try somewhere a little different or more higher end?

You should look at:
Williams-Sonoma
Bloomingdales
Pottery Barn
Pier 1
Honeymoom registries

I had the same problem. Had FH and my daughter with me, it was like having two kids with me.
