Candle Favors

Has anyone used or thought of using personalized candles for favors? Any pros or cons, Any input would be helpful. Also, I found a good deal on them, is 1 year to early to purchase and store them? I am trying to get a little done at a time. Thanks all!

Candle Favors

i am doing my own centerpieces with candles at my wedding in about 6 months, I was nervous about buying them so early but I did anyway. I think as long as you store them in a cool place, upright so they don't get flat on one side, it would be fine. I wouldn't unwrap them from the plastic (if they're in plastice) until closer to the wedding though to wrap them. If they aren't wrapped I would cover them with something or put them upright in a box so they don't get all dusty. How good of a deal did you find, and where, if you don't mind?? thanks!

Candle Favors

Chandlercandle.com, about $3.00 each, they are small but personalized with dried flowers. I may go for the larger one I think it is about $5.00 each, that I have to check on. I actually am looking to order them in about a month, I want the flowers to match the bridesmaid dresses, they have alot to choose from.

Candle Favors

I just went to a wedding and they gave candles as favors. They were beautiful but for some reason a lot of people did not take them. As we were leaving we noticed that there were a lot left on the tables.

Candle Favors

That's my concern. I don't want to give something that people are not really interested in. I wouldn't mind giving jordan almonds but I think they'll leave that behind too. What do you think?

Kittyke/dreamy

I just received my candle favors from www.yankeecandle.com. They came out GREAT! I got small votives with a flag on them and our names and date (We're getting married July 4th). They were $2.55 each but shipping costs a lot. The number is 1-800-243-1776 in case you are interested. You can mix and match colors/scent flavors. I bought votive holders and celephane and will wrap them myself.

leaving favors

it happens to the best of them...I have forgotten favors before (even alcoholic ones, which I don't turn down ;) ) I have also been the one to leave the table last and scoop up an extra or two ;) I'll probably get flamed for saying that...
