Hot tip from a Newly wed newlywed to my girls!

I wanted to make sure I said this to you girls while it is still fresh and the feelings are still new and 'alive' in me...

girls, whatever you do on your wedding day, make sure you OWN the day. I had the best time ever at my wedding, and it is because I enjoyed every single minute, I REVELED in it. I didn't think ahead to the next course, dance, announcement...NOTHING..I lived in the minute. I enjoyed EVERY song, every bite, EVERY SINGLE KISS!

I danced all night...I ATE my food, I had shots with my girls!

I kissed my husband, hugged my friends and family and I breathed it all in...

My friend told me today that she has never seen a bride look like they enjoyed their wedding more, and I think those that witnessed it first hand would agree...it was MINE and I made the best of it.

Please do the same for yours, the day does go by, but by living in each moment...I was able to slow it down enough to truly enjoy.

I couldn't agree more! I did the same thing as you did, I ate 3 lobster tails, I ate tons of cocktail hour food...I just did everything and didn't worry about the next step! You took the words right out of my mouth!

It's what we all DESERVE to do on that day!

take it all in with your new husband look out on all the people who came to celebrate your marriage.

I couldn't agree more. It's YOUR day and no matter what anyone says/does, you are marrying the love of your life. Make sure you live in the moment and absorb all that is going on.

That is such good advice. I really want to enjoy every minute of it. It so great to hear a bride say she had a great time. Makes all the planning worth it!

That's such good advice. As another recent bride, I have to agree with Jess...make sure to enjoy your day, make the most of everything, because you'll really miss out.

DH and I had such a fantastic time at our wedding, and so did our guests. The bride and groom truly set the tone of a wedding and many guests have told us it was so much fun watching a bride and groom enjoy their wedding so much.
