POLL: Are you bringing your rings on the honeymoon?

I know this has been asked before, but I did a search and couldn't find it.

I'm still debating this... I know I wouldn't feel comfy leaving it in a safe in the room and if I wore it on excursions (we'll be in the water A LOT and doing lots of activities) I'd be checking my hand every 2 seconds. But, I also know that i'm not going to want to leave them home!!!

What are you doing or if you're married, what did you do and what would you recommend from experience?

ETA: If you did bring them... did you leave them in a safe during activities or wear them?

I am not taking the baby off!!!! I am definately wearing mine!!!

I am not going to a beachy location (ITALY!!!!!).

But I am planning on going away next February to an island - and I probably would not wear it there because of the whole swimming thing,

I recently went to Miami and I was not having that much fun in the water b/c I kept looking down at my ring.

I'd probably buy a fake band or something.

Great question!!! I thought I was the only one who did not want to take my rings with me!!! I will be getting a fake set to wear I think.

I'm planning on taking my ring w/ me. (i'll just leave it on the whole time so nothing goes wrong).

I brought mine and wore them both most of the time. I took them off twice and left them in the safe, when we went into town and the other on an excursion. We created our own combination on the safe, I felt totally fine leaving them in there.

Jess--I struggled with this big time but in the end I brought them because you are just married and I couldn't bear to be without them.

Early in the week I put them in the safe inour hotel room while swimming, etc but after about 2 days of this I just didn't bother---I wore them and YEP checked my hands every two secs (especially when snorkeling,-that ring was in front of my face all the time .

Struggling again with this for our Costa Rica anniversary trip which will be more active than our HM!

We only wore our bands on the HM. They were very simple so i wasn't concerned about drawing attention to all the bling. WE would leave them in the hotel safe. But i did not take my engagement ring. I would never leave it in the hotel safe and i heard to many stories of girls losing them in the ocean or is slipping off their finger in the pool.

I bought a fake wedding band/engagement ring for our honeymoon...We went to Disney World and I knew we would be on rides and rollercoasters so I felt safe leaving them at home!

On our HM, I did not take them off at all! We swam with the dolphins & even snorkeled! There was not a moment that I was worried about them falling off! There was no way I was leaving them in the safe! Plus I swim in the summer with my e-ring on!

I just brought the band, didn't want to have to worry about the diamond.

same here. I just wore my eternity band, I did not bring my
engagement ring. DH did not want me to even bring my wedding band but hey I just got married I had to wear something.

I brought them with me, I couldn't even think about leaving them home. If I had to take them off for excursions I tied them in my bikini top strap so I knew where they were at all times. I still do that actually.

My DH wwouldn't let me- but it would have been fine

I missed them- but I had something to look forward to when I got back

I wouldn't have wanted to leave them in the room safe- even though we left everything else in there-

I plan on bringing mine. I'm sure the rooms have safes if needed, but if not, it's not leaving my finger!

I only take mine off when I sleep and shower, they'll be coming with me.

I'm not an all-out water person but the ring fits well enough where I don't worry about it coming off, never have.

We will have a safe in our room for other things (camera equipment) and I plan on taking out an apartment insurance policy in the next few weeks. They already confirmed that everything we bring with us on vacation will be covered.

I'm just going to wear my band. My ering will stay at home, don't wanna chance losing that baby!

I plan on bringing mine...I would proabably leave it in the safe where FH and I create a combination.
