What was your favorite registry gift??


I just discovered mine!! I have always wanted a rice cooker SOOO bad and everyone would make fun of me telling me that you can cook it fine on the stove and no one needs one because how do you mess up rice?? Well i registered for one any way... and not one got me it for my shower But one of my most fabulous friends knew how much i wanted it and got it for me for the wedding...

well i just used it for the first time for dinner and it was AWESOME!!! The rice came out PERFECT and i am SOO happy i got it!!

rice cookers are a great invention! have fun with it... i found i make alot more stir frys and rice and beans now that i have one - healthier eating! Also, I make a big batch of rice, store the leftovers, and then a few days laer make fried rice (best made with cold leftover rice) to bring for lunch - its so easy to do and so good!

My fave gift was our pots. calphalon one. i was using really old cheap pots and pans for years, all the nonstick coating was peeling off into the food ! - it was horrible.

My cooking just tastes so good coming from high quality cookware. I love it!

not sure if it's our 'favorite', but we use our convection toaster oven almost every single day!! it's awesome!

Either my dyson animal or sterling silver flatware. I know, a stark contrast, but i figure i'd never get to use one (silverware) without the other (vacuum)!

i have used it almost every day since my shower in feb...
i am so happy with it! my mommy got it for me


i also LOVE target bedding (even though it the color faded when i washed it) it still looks gorgeous in my bedroom

My KitchenAid mixer...I love to bake & I constantly find a reason to use it!!!

Also my pots, it was definately hard to own a house for 5 months & not be able to cook a meal on the stove!!!

I got 2 toasting flutes from my crystal as a shower gift and the crystal serving pieces- pitcher and decanter.

Before the wedding it was my Cake Topper

After the wedding - Definately my kitchen aid mixer and my calapharon pots and pans because I love to cook

So far my Tassimo one cup coffee maker - I love it!

Our bedding- a super warm and soft down comforter and all the sheets, pillow cases, etc from MIL.

Our cookware- from my sisters. We love to cook with our new pots and pans. The food cooks so much better and tastes yummy.

Waterford crystal captain's decanter. Totally useless but so beautiful.

I'm not really sure....but I think it was my cake stand. It is very pretty I also enjoyed getting my china.
