Laser Hair Removal Question

Has anyone had this done? I usually get my upper lip waxed and realized I can save a lot of money over time if I get the laser done. However, I've heard if it's done wrong, it can burn yoru skin and leave nasty scars.
I'd love to know if anyone has had it done and what the results were!! Also, has anyone gone to American Laser Centers or heard anything about them? That's where I would go to if I do it but I would like to get some reviews on it.
Thanks ladies!!!

Re: Laser Hair Removal Question

I got laser done a few times but didn;t do it enough for the hair to completely stop. I did not get scarred or burned - just make sure you go to a reputable place. I think I am going to go again, b/c it is annoying going to waxings!

Re: Laser Hair Removal Question

Well, I go to America laser I would not recommend them, I have been going for SO long and do not have any reasons from there laser. They don't use the right laser for hair removal. You have to go somewhere that they use a light sheer laser that works the best and I got great results from that kind.

Re: Laser Hair Removal Question

I have had facial hair treatments twice (first time had abotu 10 treatments, second time about 5 treatments). I Love the results but it is not completely permanent and will probably have to have it done again. I live in DC so used Georgetown Hospital (on rec of my GYN) and the ALase. Good Luck!!!!
