i know it has been asked a million times, but i DESPERATELY need help with BM gifts

i really don't know what to do. with 54 days left, i have no BM gifts.

i don't want to do tote bags--most of the girls have them. however, i would consider an inexpensive tote to put the gifts in (if it was like $10) i can spend up to $50 each--i have 7 girls ranging in age from 21-30.

i already bought an inexpensive jewelry set but can't come up with anything else.

i also need gifts for my 3 readers--in the $20 range. they are between age 19-29.

any suggestions? i always read people's posts about their gifts, but i just don't know what to do...

i don't want to get a gift certificate and want to get something useful--not just for the wedding.

Are the readers male or female? We got one of our readers a frame from Things Remembered that was $25. We got our other reader a cigar case also from Things Remembered.

As for the bridesmaids, I got mine Swarovski necklaces



I also got them lotions from Bath & Body Works, red satin ballet slippers to match their dresses, and Frederik Fekkai shampoo/conditioner set from Sephora. It was a really nice gift set.

For my one BM (my mom) I bought her a really nice bracelet, some lotions and a candle from B&BW & a picture of us in a frame. I also got her a really cute tote from B&BW..crap! it looks like it's sold out online..but try their stores..they have cute gift totes!

Hey Carol - I'm giving my BM a necklace and earring set in a small heart shaped jewelry box with their names engraved on it.

For my readers. One loves coffee, so we were going to buy her some gormet coffee and a mug with our wedding date on it.

The other reader loves wine, so we were going to buy her an north vineyard wine from LI and glass charms and a wine opener with our wedding date

At least this is what we have planned - haven't ordered them yet.

I don't know if this is helpful - but in addition to doing jewelry, I bought these great jars from Ikea (super cheap) and had labels printed for them from a label website... I did cookie jars and you can personalize the message - so the front said for my bridal party... Chocolate chip cookies... and then I wrote a big message for the back label... I'm sure this could be done for anything... a candy jar or something... just a thought. I just did this and the labels should be arriving this week. If you want to see a pic, let me know!

If you don't mind giving them something intangible you could take them to lunch or dinner. Or take them out for spa treatments - massages, mani/pedi. What about a concert, sporting event or play?

Other than that you could try to think of something specific to each of their personalities and buy different gifts for each. As someone mentioned before, you could get the wine lover a nice bottle of wine, or a wine utensil set, and get someone else gourmet coffee, special chocolates.

Another suggestion that I saw that I thought was GREAT was customized frames with a picture of the two of you, or a picture of the bridal party.

so far i got my girls engraved jewelry boxes, coach makeup cases, and i am making them each a collage. i also am purchasing their day-of jewelry, but i haven't gotten that far yet.

How about matching flip flops or chinese slippers? Evening bags for their dresses, or personalized jewelry rolls for the necklaces you bought?
