Bachelorette Party Drama

After having the horrible day I had today it only gets worse. I found out today that my MOH reserved and paid for 10 people for my bachelorette party and 2 have backed out already (1 being my friend at work who no longer wants to be my friend....I posted about this earlier). The tickets are non-refundable.

I am beginning to realize that some people are just so selfish. I haven't had much drama related to my wedding until recently when I started to get RSVP's with stupid excuses as to why family (who I would expect to be there) aren't coming (ex. a pre-school graduation at 9 in the morning). Family and friends just have a way of ruining the what is supposed to be the most exciting, best day of your life. But I guess those people aren't as close as you thought they were to begin with.

At this point, with 3 weeks to go, I can't wait for this wedding to be over and tell people to just go 'F' themselves. I am constantly going out of my way for others, thinking about others feelings, and trying to be the best friend I can be. And yet I feel like I am constantly getting sh*t on. Some people are just so unbelievable.

I told my mother earlier on the phone that I can't wait for my wedding to be over to write off the jack asses in our family and that I will never have a big party like this again.

I can't wait for this day to be over!!!!!!!!

awwwww i know how you feel! I just found out that 3 cousins wont go to my wedding b/c they now hate their father!! so much drama w. my dads side....errrr very annoying!!!

I can relate to you all the way. I had drama within days of the bachelorette party and I've gotten those invalid excuses. You know what though...you'll find the people that really care about you will be there and that's all that matters. 3 of FI's cousins all came up with excuses after we go to everything for them...and they live in PA!! We put our foot down and will never do a thing for them again. And believe me the excuses only get worse. From people not being able to find a babysitter to having a bday party that morning...HELLO...the reception isn't until 7:30pm!
We're better off without them!
