Seeing my first hall tonight..UPDATED W STORY

We have an appt with Nick at CLM this evening.

OK call me weird....but I'm really lazy. I only want to visit 2 halls.I've researched enough on LIW for prices and pics. I love CLM because I want a high dramatic ceiling (bil had wedding at Jericho terrace so that out), or Westbury Manor because its literally around the block from my house (damn peococks are always in my backyard) and I like the cherry wood and gardens.

I know 2 very different halls.

Anyway I got to CLM yesterday 1/2 hour early. I went in Nick was right by the piano and he said 'Hi,you're Jessica, right? I'm Nick'. I loved that b/c he was having a tasting and people were already showing up but he singled me out. I told him Anthony will be a little late bc of work and will be bringing a coworker that he carpooled with. He showed me all the rooms. I loved it!!!!!Then he sat me in with the food tasting and brought me a glass of white wine. AS I was waiting, Matt, I guess a bm, was joking with me and said if my fiance doesn;t show up he'll sit with me Very nice guy.
Anthony and his friend showed up, we ate, Nick kept bringing me more wine (great way to make a sale )and then sat down with us to talk. I asked him a 4 page questionare that I got from LIW. Of course I modified the questions to what I wanted asked. Anthony was like, WHat? I wouldn't have thought of any of these. I would of just asked, When can I show up?
Anyway, then we saw the rooms again and left. I wanted early October but my room isn't available. He had one late october open but thats Anthony's hunting season time and even know I know its my wedding and that ridiculous, Anthony doesn;t do anything. He doesn't drink, go to strip clubs, watch sports really. THe only thing he like is hunting from mid oct to december on weekends. In the future bc of anniversary dinners or vacations, I feel bad about taking one of his weekends away. FORGOT TO SAY, REALLY AWESOME PRICES THAT WE CAN ADD VIENNESE AND POSSIBLY SEAFOOD BOAT.

We;ll see. We held the date. Checking out WM tonight. And then the thinking and talking will begin.

10 days and I get to have my wedding there!

Yup first meeting with him then tasting right afterwards....

He said if we like the place we can then go to another tasting with our parents which is very important to me
