The design for the wedding invitation though was all my creation. Aimee knew exactly what I wanted and it came out even better than I had imagined it.

My Dress- Sak's

My dress was Reem Acra's "Palatial". I first saw the dress at The Wedding Salon of Manhasset at a trunk show. It was the second dress I tried on and knew I loved it. But I decided to look around some more. I heard Sak's was having a Reem Acra trunk show as well and decided to make an appointment. When I was looking through the rack to see which dresses to try on I saw the original dress I wanted. I knew I had to try it on again to see if it really was the one. When I put it on I just knew it had to be my wedding gown. Camille my salesperson said my face just glowed when I had the dress on. The dress came in earlier than expected which was great because it was one less thing for me to worry about. My first fitting went great. It wasn?t until I had my second fitting which caused problems. I had my fitting on a Saturday 2 weeks before the wedding. I was told that I could take the dress home that day after the fitting. When I got there I was told the dress had not been steamed or cleaned and if I could wait 2 hours they would have it ready for me to take home. This would not do. My mother and my stepfather drove into the city from Long Island to take this dress home with them. How could I ask them to wait around the city for 2 hours for this dress??? So, we decided to pick the dress up the the following Saturday (1 week before the wedding). When we got there the dress was steamed and ready to go but it looked to me that they did not clean it like they said they would. I was fuming! They asked if I could wait for an hour so they could clean it properly. Here I am 1 week before my wedding running around like crazy and you have the audacity to ask me to wait an hour so you can clean it. You had the dress all week you were too busy to clean??? I just took the dress home and cleaned it myself with some white chalk which did the trick.









My Veil and Headpiece-Homa

I went to a truck show Homa was having at Sak's. Homa herself was there and she helped me pick out the perfect headpiece and veil to go with my dress. I wish I could wear these two pieces everyday.

Everyone's tuxedos arrived fine except my FI's. They measured him wrong, the length of the arms was too short. We came back the next day and all was well.

What can I say about John that has not been said before. He is a GENIUS!!! I was speechless when I saw my centerpieces for the reception. My girl’s Bok’s were beautiful and mine was out of this world. The colors were so breathtaking.

Dominic is a character. He made me feel so relaxed and when he saw me tense up you would crack a joke to lighten the mood. He and Peter got along great. They even started calling each pet names by the end of the day. Mike was almost invisible. He stayed out of the way at the reception but I knew he was getting some great shots of us and our guests.

Everything was A M A Z I N G. I cannot even explain it. The food, the décor, the cake was spectacular! They took such good care of us. Not one complaint!

Q...you know you were a gorgeous bride...but did you know that all the details at your wedding were so beautiful I almost feel like I was there? Love the pink (and I'm not a pink girl!), love the crystals (and you know I'm a bling girl!) and loooove the CP's...even more than the dress, you know, the dream Reem from the trunk show?

Girl...I can't wait to see your 12th Night pics...and I just wanted to add that I know you had to change hair at the last minute...I think it was meant to be that way because you looked BEAUTIFUL!!
