Curly hair girls......

so I went and got a perm! ... yes, call me crazy.. two months before the wedding
.. also touched up my highlights and got bangs, which I LOVE.

... so, this curly hair business is no joke, I used to just wash and dry my straight hair and it was good to go!

What products do you use? The perm defintely took a little shine off my hair... so I am trying to get that back and what's the easiest way to keep the curls looking their best??

Hello new curly haired friend! With all the products on the market, most of which I have tried, I love and have used forever:

L'Oreal springing Curls Mousse and their pumping curls. I also LOVE Queen Helene's gel, get the clear one, it works SO Much better then the yellow one.

After I wash my hair I wrap it in a towel to get most of the water off, then I put in the pumping curls, then the mousse and then the gel and SCRUNCH my hair. I bend over (LOL) and then just dry my hair and it comes out great!

Don't use alot of products w/alcohol. Very hard to do...but if you must...then make sure to deep condition your hair at least once a week.

thanks for the tips! I am definetely going to deep condition often, need to get my shine back!

I now have a new found respect for curly hair girls, this is a lot of work!
