MY FAMILY HAS GONE CRAZY!!!

Hey girls!! Get this, my flower girl is my niece (my brothers daughter) and her mother (my SIL) just sent me an email 5 DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING) telling me that she does not want my niece to go to the reception for the introductions b/c it's going to be late!!!!! She tells me this NOW?!?!?! I asked her a year ago!!!!! I told her my niece can take a nap in between the church and the reception (we have 4 hours!!) I don't think it's fair and I'm stressed enough as it is!!! Am I wrong for feeling upset??? ***?????!!!!

Disappointing? Yes! But not something to lose sleep over. No one will notice or judge that she is not there..... maybe your SIL just wants to relax and have a good time at the party??

I completely understand why you are upset. Maybe you can get your brother to intervene on this? Have her there for just the introduction but then have her brought to the bridal suite if she gets too tired.

i agree! dont worry about that stuff anymore...you're getting married this weekend!!! my sister isnt bringing my nephews to the wedding because she wanted to relax and enjoy without having to worry about them getting sleepy. your SIL probably just wants to have a good time with you and your soon to be DH! dont stress, life is good...

I don't think you are wrong for being upset. I DO think they could have told you this a year ago when you asked your niece to be in the wedding - NOT 5 days before the wedding, especially in an e-mail. Why couldn't she call you??

Unfortunatelly, it is hard to predict how kids would behave at any wedding. She could have come but then fall asleep by the time of the reception.

Don't sweat the small stuff. I know it's disappointing a bit but your day will be beautiful no matter what.

I also found out that my FG will not be attending the reception. I am assuming that the mother doesn't want to have to worry about her and can enjoy herself at the reception. It stinks that they couldn't have told you sooner, but she will be there for the ceremony and pictures, right??

I agree.... I wouldn't stress about this.... My FG is only staying for the ceremony & CH (everything is in the RH). Her parents are in the bridal party and they want to have a good time.

I AGREE ! PLUS THE CHILD MAY BE GRUMPY AS IT GETS LATER
