Re: photo albums: digital coffee table v. traditional

I picked a digital album cause I like the different styles and layouts of the page. I can have all of my cake cutting pictures and our parent dances on the same page.

Re: photo albums: digital coffee table v. traditional

To be honest, mine is traditional but beautiful. It's in a wine-colored linen/satin box and the book is of the same material...each page is hand torn at the edge with a piece of tissue over the photos. The only issue is it's so freaking delicate that it's in my closet....so I probably should've gone practical. But, when I met with this photog, I can't lie; that was the style album i fell in love with.

Re: photo albums: digital coffee table v. traditional

We loved the digital album. The layouts just make the pages look so much more interesting. Duet definitely knows what they're doing when it comes to digital and I was really happy that they included it in the cost.

Re: photo albums: digital coffee table v. traditional

we are doing digital because it looks more like a story of the whole day. A traditional album wouldn't have been practical for us bc we didn't want 1 picture on each page. We wanted each page to show a lot of pictures.

we purchased an album that is digital, but all our pics are taken with real film. that is what we cared most about- real film and not digital.

Re: photo albums: digital coffee table v. traditional

We had the choice of either for the same price, but we went w/ traditional. We felt the digital had 'too much going on' on e/ page and just didn't have the feel of a wedding album, but again that is just our opinion. I have seen some very beautiful ones, for us we just like the more traditional

Same here...the digital felt too much like a yearbook to us. The traditional style is more our style. Plus, the way I look at it, we can always create a digital album of some kind.

We got a traditional album. I love digital editing, and will make my own 'coffee table' book for less than $100.

We're going with the digital album- we love the different layouts. Our parents will get the traditional albums, though, but even they're gorgeous- I love our photographer!

Re: photo albums: digital coffee table v. traditional

We're going with the digital album because it was different, and I like the way it tells a story. I figured I could put together my own traditional album.
