Has anyone used Gownfind.com? They quoted me a great price on my dress and said it would only take 6-8 weeks while other salons said 6-8 months?

This is Phyllis. You can do a search here on this site and you will find TONS of reviews.

I first doubted her prices too on a dress I first looked at. I ended up in another bridal shop who had exclusivity for my dress. She was much much cheaper than other stores.

Many brides are using her for both purchases and alterations.

She is great...she actually has a store now...it's near commack in Dixhills on Jericho...she is great I got a bridesmaid dress there, and she did alterations on another dress for me...My wedding dress is already in but we didn't start alterations yet.

im using her.....so far i have no probs...but my cousin is using her as well and shes ran into a few minor snags so far! But im sure all places have faults so im not holding it against her...YET!!

but her prices are great! im thrilled w that part

This is Phyllis and she's wonderful! I bought my dress at David's and hated their customer service. I called her and she had me come in to a free estimation and her costs were AWESOME!!! We did everything right then and there and I go back for my 2nd fitting in August! Can't wait!!!

Her prices are for real but, for my wedding, her service was not the greatest. I posted some info in my review. I'm glad that so many people continued to have great experiences with her, but I'm also a bit surprised. I had 6 bridesmaids who were totally easygoing but they each had some dififculty with her.

we are getting my mom's dress and the 3 bm dresses there...anywhere you go, you are going to hear of issues from a salon...personally, the costs of the dresses are so much cheaper there, and that is where we are going to go.

I used Phyllis also....my dress came in perfect & I have my 2nd fititng this week. Our fg dresses just came in & fittings w/b on Friday. She's been great so far.
