any crafty brides? looking for crafty ideas!
hi!i am looking for something 'crafty' to do for my bachelorette party. we would love to go to one of those clay rooms and paint our own pottery. i live in boston and we have a really fun one up here where you can bring wine and apps ect. are there any places like that on long island? i have also heard of people making their own handbags for bach. parties. maybe make your own jewelry. ive done google searches and cant find anything.
if you can help please let me know!!!!!!!!
thanks!

I don't live on LI any longer, but why not do a search in the yellow pages. I am pretty sure those pottery places exist on LI.Another option to add to your list is to do a scrapbook party. Some stores offer classes in the store or at your home. Or, if you have a friend who is into scrapbooking, she could host it at her house with scrapbook supplies and your friends can each make a page about your friendship/ good times with you, or document your engagement, etc.

I also live in Boston and I would recommend going to either Anna William in Cambridge or 1154 Lill Studio on Newbury St to 'make' your own handbags! You can bring wine, snacks, etc and have a private party. It's so much fun!

Where are you on LI? I know there's one in Selden or Centereach area - if I remember correctly. (My son went to a bday party there).

on franklin avenue in garden city you can bring wine & paint pottery (once upon a dish I think is the neame). Or the Viking, on franklin avenue has cooking classes, girls night ones too.

I was going to mention once upon a dish in garden city. There are also bead stores that have 'make your own jewelry classes'. I've been meaning to get my SILs together to do a class at Beads n' stitches in Bellmore. www.beadsnstitches.com I don't know about the wine and stuff there though.I wish I had thought of this!
