RP: Today Is My 2 Year Engagement Anniversary

We are going to have dinner at the restaurant where we got engaged

I felt so bad....I had lunch with FH and he mentioned going to dinner tonight. I remembered that we had plans to go to dinner, because there is something in particular that we need to discuss.

So, this was in my mind as to why we were going to dinner. Then he mentions going to the restaurant in Brooklyn where we got engaged, which is like 45 minutes away and I was all against it, like ....'No....my time is so tight right now...we are going to spend 1 - 1 1/2 hours total to get there and back.....We don't have room in the budget to go somewhere too expensive......blah, blah, blah'

Then I realized what today was and felt bad that I forgot...especially since I reminded him yesterday that today was the anniversary. Poor guy.....sometimes he is more romantic than I am

It happens....my FH comes up with stuff all the time that I wouldn't remember even if I tried (don't get me wrong I do try - but I would need to walk around with post-its on my forehead all the time!)!!!!

ETA: CONGRATS!!!!! I won't get to celebrate that officially until we're married for 2 years.....we got engaged on leap day!

Thanks Girls!!! We had a nice time.

The most interesting thing is that on the night we got engaged, then on the day we went back to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and again last night -- they always end up seating us at the same table each time. We couldn't believe it!

I am still stuffed from all the eating we did
