SWR: Do you LOVE your job? If so, what do you do?

Just curious if there is anyone out there who LOVES there job?

If so, what field are you in?

I loved my job on LI....I worked in a private ABA school for children with autism. I was a teacher and consultant. I loved every minute of it, even the tough days.
Now, I live in NC and I have been trying to find a job I love as much as that one...no luck so far. (I know run a group home for children with autism)

I work in a Community hospital in Westchester. I'm an admin assistant but I deal with Patient Families when they need to hire someone to be a private nurse for them. Usually, the patient is really sick or terminal and the family is very emotional and vulnerable. I love sitting with them and telling them they will get through it.

I used to love my job! I'm thinking about how I can stay in IT and get everything I want out of my job. I'm a Network Administrator.

I LOVE my job! I am a teacher, and I think the kids are amazing!!! I love the good days, the bad days, the easy days, and the tough days! Everyday I am there I know I made a difference in one (hopefully more) of my kids lives; whether it is education, counseling, or just being there for them when they need me.

I LOVE my job! I am a Radiation Therapist and work with cancer patients. It is the best job in the whole world.

I really like my job (love is a strong word ) I work for Social Security. Can't really explain what I do, cause it entails a lot of things but I don't have to deal with the people (which is WONDERFUL) and I basically work with people benefits. I'd still rather be posting than working like I'm doing right now!

I have to say I love my job.

I am a Casualty and Property Insurance Wholesale Broker. The people & $$ are great and there are a lot of perks.

It's REALLY stressful sometimes and my blackberry does not leave my side, but I enjoy it.

I like my job. I work in Marketing for a firm in the city. I work on a lot of cool projects. Summers are great, since everyone is on vacation, work has been super slow. I have been able to do a lot of wedding stuff lately. Also, I get to work from my house at least once a week since the company uses laptops. We get a lot of benefits at this company.

I love my Job.... I work the Computer Help Desk for a large family run Lumber yard

I love my job. I'm a staff accountant for an architectural/engineering firm. Too bad i won't be working here after I'm married (moving 2 states away)

i must say that i do love what i do ... or at least what i did this past year! i was a kindergarten teacher and loved every minute of it. i can't believe how much i learned too!

unfortunately, i was only a leave replacement for the year so it's back looking for another teaching position. hopefully i'll find something for september!

I don't know if I LOVE my job, but I like it a lot! I work in the Marketing department for an engineering/architectural/IT firm.

The people here are really nice, I have pretty good benefits (including flex days) and it's close to home.

If I really had my dream, I would have been a teacher. I would be home sleeping right now!

I love my job so much that I dont even consider it a job!! I am a resource room teacher for elementary students in the Sachem School district. I basically just work with the general ed. students that have learning disabilities and ADHD. And I actually have to admit that Im a varsity cheerleading coach and I love that job more. If it could be a full time 9-5 job,,and the money was good (i make about 12cents an hour after the extra time i put in for competitions) I would quit teaching and just coach!!!

I love my job, and definitely don't consider it work.

I'm an eCommerce Manager and work on a few retail websites. I actually get to spend alot of time on the web since my job requires it.

i really LIKE my job bc i can make my own schedule ( for example, i can work an extra hour each day and then take a half day friday - or i can work a lot extra and take 3 days off without using my vacation time), i dont have to deal with people, and i love my coworkers!!!!!!!

This is tough. I wouldnt say I LOVE my job but I like it alot. Of coures I can do with out some of my coworkers but what can ya do. I work in a coporate travel agency in the city and I get to work on the Fashion Accounts

For anyone who loves what they do, consider yourself BLESSED! IMO, not many people do (including me)
