Some Quality Time....(NWR) but something fun to do!!!

I want to spend as much time with DH as possible before I return back to school in September, so I made a reservation for a little suprise. Last week I booked horseback riding for this past Saturday....DH had no idea; of course I told him we had something to do at 12pm, but I didn't tell him what.

See, I love horses and this was something we had discussed we were going to do on our HM....unfortunatly, the service was no longer available when we got to Bora Bora, Tahiti.

We went to the Babylon Riding Center in West Babylon and had a great time. It was a little hot to be riding, but we made the best of it.

awww... that's so nice! I will never go horse back riding again. I've been on three horses in my life. I've been thrown twice. Once when I was 10 years old - on a horse named 'Bucky' (tip: never go on a horse named Bucky) because he was spooked by a snake. And once 3 years ago when I asked the trail leader to take a picture and my horse got too close to his - and apparently my horse didn't like his horse and my horse TOOK OFF and threw me. So on our honeymoon... we'll be doing a horse and carriage ride! My butt will never go on a saddle again!

That was such a nice surprise you planned for after the honeymoon!

Glad to hear you are alright. The trail guide's horse got spooked and almost threw her off, thankfully she held on for dear life. There are very large animals with a lot of power......its a scary thing. We actually had to sign a waiver before we were able to get on the horse.

Yea, that's one thing DH and I made sure to do in Hawaii. I love horses!!!!!!!

Looks like fun Carissa, maybe I'll check that place out!!
