Huge Problem....BM Dresses (2nd update)

well, with only 25 days to go, I found out that the wrong BM dresses were ordered! i had selected Bill Levkoff style #704 in Euro Berry with a Champagne sash. The dress that was ordered is Bill Levkoff style #705 (still in Euro Berry, no sash). I don't know what to do! I'm so upset. The GM's tuxes were coordinating to the Chamagne sash and I had the girls get Champagne shoes. They are going to call the manufacturer tomorrow, but I doubt that's going to do anything. I have an OOT BM who needs her dress asap for alterations. I have included links below with pics of the dresses.

UPDATE:
They are going to rush the dresses. They will be in by August 4th. Then I can overnight the dress to my OOT BM. Ugh.....hopefully that's the last big stress I have to deal with! Thanks for all your help ladies!

SECOND UPDATE:
So the dresses were supposed to be here last Friday, but they still didn't come in yet. They are telling me that they may be in tomorrow morning. I don't know what to do. My wedding is NEXT WEEK! And I have an OOT BM that needs alterations! This stinks............

honestly that sux....but the second dress is very nice. can they return the shoes. its not the biggest deal in the world. at least it si still a pretty dress. my sisiter in law had the wrong flores delivers a few eeks ago for her wedding, they cam orange...in july, but we made the best of it u know? it culd be worst. just wait and see what happens.

I definetelt like your dress much better-but the other dress is pretty as well. Just keep trying to get the manufacturer to rush the dresses-Good luck!

can you have the seamstress change the color of the bow to champagne or add somethin in champagne to make it coordinate better? that might be an option for you... the dress is veryy pretty!

keep on them about the rush order, I hope everything works out.

If they can't get it in and since the dress is basically the same in color and style, maybe the can get some fabric (champagne colered) and add a sash to the dresses for you. It would be the least that they can do.

I would make the salon take care of all of it for you-- it can be rushed-- it happened with my gown, and they screwed up royally with a month to go--
it is 100% possible for it to be done within that time limit-- and I even got a note of apology from the manufacturer, regarding the mixup. do not settle for what you didnt order-- its up to them to make it up to you....thats their job

Oh no LL!! I can't tell from your links what actually came in, but you ordered this one, correct?



Look at Cindy - they never placed her order, and it was a WEEK before the wedding, and the dresses came in. Granted you don't need this kind of stress or BS. Can you repost a pic of the one that came in? The Euro Berry goes with champagne regardless of a sash.

i really like both dresses. maybe they can order you the champagne sashes and they could be added on the the dresses that came in? that would look beautiful!

im really sorry you are going thru this, they are both very nice dresses. i would wait until tomorrow and see what they can do for you, its their fault and they should do their best to accomodate you and your BMs, including the one in Georgia. I hope everything works out

Wow! that stinks! I'm happy they're going to rush them in. You'll love the Euro Berry color...my girls wore them and they look great in pics! Good luck!

i actually had a major problem with the bm dresses too and everything turned out amazing. The dresses came in and they were all sage green but not all the same sage green so the place sent them back. they came in a week and a half before the wedding and all the girls had to get in to be fitted. everyone of the girls had their dress by the thurs before the wedding. I would have them send back the wrong dresses and get the ones you wanted - dont settle
