Who plans the Bachelorette Party?

Am I suppose to do this? Right now I am so tired of planning that if I'm the one that has to do it, then I rather not have one. I don't have an MOH, but I do have 6 BMs, but I am not sure if this is something I need to plan or they do?

Th ebridal party is 'supposed to'
I had 1 BM volunteer, and then not do anything about it. I lit the fire under her @ss, and I chose the location. I also found the hotel and chose the dinne rlocation. But she printed up and mailed invites. That was helpful.

my whole bridal party planned it...they did it together (some more than others) but it got done and I had a great time. If I had to plan one myself I wouldnt bother.

My MOH who is also my sister planned it. I knew nothing about it. All I knew was the date, time, and the place we had to meet. I really think your BMs should plan it. But if you really want one and you don't think anyone will plan it, then unfortunately I think you might have to plan it. Good Luck!

I believe your bridal party, friends, family plan it. Basically anyone interested. I guess typically it's the MOH since she's sort of the 'Head BM' but in your case not having one they may not know what to do since no one is taking the lead role. You may want to touch base with your bridal party to let them know you'd be interested in having one. Maybe that will get them moving on putting one together for you.

Usually the MOH but anyone can plan it for you, i would say a close friend or anyone in the bridal party, definately tell them you are interested and what you want to do
when i was a moh we discussed what she wanted to do, who she wanted to invite and then i planned everything but kept her up to date on all the plans, this doesn't need to be a surprise but you shouldn't have to plan it yourself

mine is this weekend...all the ladies planned it...my MOH is in charge i think...but they made all the plans...I have to just show up

It should be the MOH and/or BP, but it can be any friend that wants to take charge.

I planned one for a fellow LIW bride, and I know she is planning mine. I have no idea if my MOH/sister is helping her (my BM all live OOT) or if she is planning a separate one.

ETA: I did not plan it without input from the bride. IMO, a bachelorette party needs some bride input so she doesn't wind up at a strip show if that's not what she wants (or in the alternative doesn't get to go to one if that's what she wants).
