Response Time and when to send out invites???

I already had my invitations printed up, but now I am doubting the response time that I put on it. When should the response date have been for a November 10th wedding? And when should I send the invitations out by?

RSVP times can vary, what i have seen to be the most common is about 4 weeks before the wedding, although i have seen less and more. i did 5 weeks before my wedding just because we have a ton of OOT guests and they have to book the hotel by 4 weeks ahead to get the group price. Im also sending my invites out at the end of august, about a month before my RSVP date of Sept 30th

I just sent out my invites today. Give your guests 1 month to rsvp. Anything more and they might just forget about doing it. Not that they can't forget in 1 month though...

Sent invites about 8 weeks before the wedding.

I put October 10th(also my brothers birthday) for my November 10th wedding and I was thinking of sending the invitations out by September 10th...but then I was thinking that 8 weeks before was way too early.

8 weeks before is typical to send out your invites. Don't sweat it.

Invites out: 1/20

We are sending ours out end of Oct
Dec 5th is the rsvp date
wedding is Jan 5th
