NWR: Argh!!! Someone broke into our car tonight!!!

While we were parked down by the meat market near Yankee Stadium and at the Yankee game, some jerks decide to take a rock, smash the passenger side window, and steal the Sirius radio I got DH for the holidays, and my gym bag which contained my iPod.

It pissed us both off, however the window can be fixed for $150, DH called Sirius to report the radio stolen, and they have deactivated it so no one else can use it, and I am going to try tomorrow to see if anything can be done about the iPod to shut it down since it was stolen. (This one I think will just be a loss and they probably won't be able to do anything at Apple, but it's worth a shot).

My only saving grace? I was thinking about getting a new mp3 player anyway. Anyone recommend any good ones that hold at least 5000 songs?

Oh, that really *****!!!! The contents in your car might be covered under insurance. There would be a deductible. I don't have an MP3 player rec. b/c my ipod is 2 years old now and there are better ones out there! Sorry to hear this!

OMG Janna!! I'm so sorry sweetie. At least you guys are okay. Even though you're pissed off, it's just stuff which can be replaced. You and Andrew can't be! We'll go shopping for iPod's together!

Awww Janna!

Someone did the same thing to angelo last year - he had his Ipod in plain site - and it was the $599 one that stored pictures, and the special adapter into the radio - they broke his wondow in freezing winter weather and he had to drive home from the city that way!!!

You can de-activate your Ipod? I wish I knew that when it happened!!!

Sorry to hear that happend. That really SVCKS!!
I would hate to live w/out my Sirius for a day.

ughhh.. that *****. That happened to me in Queens once when I was in college (bastids stole a camera I had in the car which had a picture of me and DON MATTINGLY in the camera!!

). Worst feeling in the world when you see glass everywhere.... I'm sorry!!!! It's worth it to pay for the lot across the street from the stadium where you have cops everywhere and the lot is covered by insurance.

good luck getting everything back! And at least the Yankees won for you guys!
