i have heard so much about phyllis from gownfind...how does this work? i called the number on the website, that says is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and got what sounded like a regular answering machine.

did you get quotes thru e-mail or phone ladies? (i just e-mailed too)

she must be really busy 'cus it takes her a week to reply to my email, i am still waiting for the 2nd email back from her which i sent last weekend!

her store Bridal Elegance is bridal shop...then she has gownfind online...they are the same company...she just doesn't advertise it that way.

Def. email her if you have time and can wait awhile for an answer (that is a week or so.. its weddign season she takes awhile)...
normally its a day turn aroudn on emails


I emailed her # of girls, style number and she came back with a quote... i went and ordered from her.. very quick process and all my girls went there to get measured and it took each less then 5 min ...

she's wonderful.. id wait an extra MONTH for her to get back to me hehe.. my dresses were ordered first week of july and will be in 9/25!

It is in a strip mall that goes sideways (does not face front), and it is across from DSW.

There's more info about her in my review. I tried to save my BMs money but I realized later that they would have preferred to spend more and get better service.

I am using Phyllis for my BM dresses and we have had a wonderful experience so far. I emailed her in teh beginning of 2006 with teh dress I had chosen, she gave me a price quote and also a quote for alterations (I beleiev it is a $45 cap for BM dresses). When we were ready to order (which was in early May or so) a few girls went to her shop and were measured, others simply called in their measuremnts. The dresses should be here any day now. I have called her a few times to ask random quetsions and she has always been helpful. I would definitely recommend it, she came in more than $50 cheaper than all other places for the same dress....

I bought my dress from herright off the rack-it was a great prce and she put a $175 cap on alterations including the bustle. Depending on whether I lose (HOPEFULLY!) or gain weight will depend on wether or not she takes the dress in or out! She has been GREAT though

well i just called her and she has my MOH dress nearly $100 LESS than the bridal shop i'm using...and the BM dresses around $40 less!!

woohoo!! i'll have to check her out in person to see how i feel, but she was very nice on the phone.

you won't regret using her! She's been wonderful with me and I'll be seeing her next Thursday for my next fitting. Quite affordable and friendly!

she is nice but too put it nicely shes a flake!!! she wont remember you 15 mins after you leave! im using her as well but kinda nerves bc shes just sooo busy w. all these ppl referring her! She just needs more help at the shop...

I'd have to agree with this - she's welcoming the business, but she does need the extra hands! I wouldn't trust anyone else, though, with my dress, escpecially not David's Bridal!

She's a flake. Exactly. And when you get there to pick up a finished dress and it still has pins in it and is not done, you realize that it's not just a matter of forgetting who you are, she forgets to do what she says she's going to do.
