you should have started this a month ago - all my good 1st anniversaries just passed (1st date, 1st kiss, me asking him out for the first time (cause he was too chicken!), 1 month anniversary).

Today is one of my BM's bdays - does that count?

The first thing that popped into my head is that this was the anniversary of my first 'serious' boyfriend, 17 years ago.

Eiw. I'd rather think of this as National Underwear Day, thank you!

So, to celebrate, shall we all go out and buy new underwear??

Nothing for today, but tomorrow is our 2 month anniversary and it's also S'mores day!!!

FH just told me tomorrow is National Duran Duran Appreciation Day, so looks like I'm going to have to break out my Greatest Hits CD!

i think today (august 10th) or yesterday (1945) was the day, our country dropped the atomic bomb in japan.

this is a good game, i love history.

ETA: sorry i just read that it should be wacky stuff. *smacks self on head a la homer style* d'oh.

the point was that you can post it's national wrench day if there's nothing else going on like a bday or anniversary or like say halloween!
