Some sad news came our way.....

Last month, Jim's best friend, found a brain tumor. he had fallen from his Jeep and the EMS did an emergency MRI. Where he fell, showed nothing however a tumor he had never felt was highly present.

The amazing doctors at PIT, where he and his awesome wife live, made the decision to remove the entire tumor than just simply performing a biopsy. The operation was what they call a success however, they did biopsy the tumor and have found two very unique forms of cancer. Because this removal surgery is never one hundred percent, the doctors last night made a drastic decision for him to undergo one full year of chemotherapy to ensure no traces remain and no new ones form. As we all can understand chemo treatments a debilitating. Unlike radiation, the body goes through a torturous regime of cycles, he will of course lose his hair, and will be unable to work.

I ask all of you in this time of craziness in our own lives to think of Griff and Debbie in your thoughts and prayers. No young newlyweds should have to go through this. Likewise no 27 year old man should experience this when his life has just begun. We are now unsure whether Griff will be strong enough to make it to our wedding. The treatments will begin on Friday and we are just praying for his safety and comfort. This of course is also very difficult for my fiancé as he has never had to deal with illness like this.

that is just horrible...he and he wife will be in my prayers...I cannot believe he is only 27

Nancy I will keep your friends in my prayers. Sometimes God works in mysterious ways, like the fact that he had that accident and had the MRI and found the tumor. Everything happens for a reason and I hope that your friends will be strong through this difficult time.

That is just terrible. It puts all the petty little things we complain about into perspective. Life is so much bigger then we think.

It is things like this that make you realize that there are MORE important things than what color flowers you should have on the tables or how you are going to do you hair....They will be in my prayers

maybe this will give them some hope, my BF's fiance was diagnosed with testicular cancer at 26...it wound up spreading to his lungs and lymph nodes. He had 13 treatments of chemo and he is doing MUCH better now, all of his hair grew back and he is doing great.

that is horrible....but keep the faith that he will fully recover and life a full and wonderful life.
