So I went to a wedding in Philly... <Do not Play list related>
They played the hokey pokey and chicken dance.. and I have to say, I actually enjoyed myself doing them. I dont know if Im ready to put them on my play list... but it brought me back to the Bay Shore roller rink days.....
The DJ was soo weird. we requested 2 songs that i KNEW our huge group of friends would dance to and he said he'd only play them if the dance floor cleared out first because he didnt think they were good songs... WHO SAYS THAT?! He played obscure 70s disco songs and 3 people were dancing. Finally, after asking him 5 times we got our songs.
Thats really all I have to share

I went to college in Pennsylvania and let me just say, it is like a different planet. I felt like they were a decade behind us. I could just imagine the music he played

It really depends!! Where did you go to school. I live in Philly now and went to Med school out here as well - and I never nticed any difference - same music and similar style - But that's Center city - The Real Philly!
