a song by an artist who is divorced?? I really like This I swear by Nick Lachey but it is bad to use that since he just got divorced!?

Use it. Lots of songs are by divorced and even gay singers...it doesn't make the message and the moment any less special.

I am using 'just the way you are' by billy joel - and when he played it in the concert that i went to he added little things like

'yeah right'

'sure, whatever'

'blah, blah, blah'

LOL i guess he doesnt feel the same way about who he wrote it anymore!

but i am still using it because it is special for us!

I would use what ever song your little heart desires.... It is about you.... no one is going to care who sang it just that you danced your first dance with your new hubby
