Wedding Night Hotel or Go Home?

Are you guys getting a hotel room the night of the wedding even if your homes are closeby?

I think we will be going on our HM the day after. It would be a hassle to pack and bring our suitcase to the hotel room. And what would I do with my wedding dress?

OMG! There are an UNLIMITED amount of logistics to think of. When does it end?!?!?!?

we have the same issue...I think if we get the room for free by guests staying there, then we'll take the room, but if not, we are going to stay in our apartment....we have to be up at like 3 am to drive to jfk the next morning...

We are going to a hoelt the night of and leavbe for HM the next day... You can have your mom or MOH pick up the dress and Grooms tux and just pack an overnight bag for the night of and leave the suit cases for HM in the car...

We are staying in a hotel the night of our wedding. We are leaving for our honeymoon on Monday. We are getting married on Sat.

We're staying at least a night - maybe a second night just for fun. It all depends on when we leave for the honeymoon. But we're also hosting an afterparty at the hotel, so we kind of need to be there, but mainly it's just nice to get away - even if we don't live that far from the reception.

We're staying for one night at the hotel where our guests are staying the night of the wedding. We're going to meet up with the guests the following morning for breakfast that the hotel provides.

We're staying at a hotel near to the hotel where our guests will be. The hotel where the guests are had already booked the bridal suite, so we took the one at the other hotel.

We're leaving the next morning for the HM...my parents are picking us up from our hotel, bringing our suit case and taking the dress/tux back with them...they're actually taking us back to the other hotel for an early breakfast and the limo will pick us up from there to go to the airport...

We're definitely staying at the same hotel 'cus there's just gonna be too much chaos w/o worrying about trying to get your stuff together and check out the same day as the wedding.

getting married at Fox Hollow they give you a compilmentary hotel night stay in the Inn at Fox Hollow!

We're staying at the hotel, we're hanging out with our friends after the wedding to spend more time with them.

I want to wait a day before we go on the HM so we dont have to feel rushed. But I just thought of the hotel thing this week - I dont want to stay at our apartment that night!

I took my dress off at the end of the night in the bridal suite and my mom took it home with her. DH and I went to stay in a hotel close to the airport since we were flying out early the next morning.

Our hall comped us the bridal suite at the Inn at Fox Hollow. So that's where we'll be staying. Don't know when we're leaving for the HM. That reallly depends on when the tour is schedule to leave and we haven't booked yet so it's really up in the air

we're staying in the hotel room the night of the wedding as well as the day after...the day after i'll probably bring my dress to my mother's as well as anything else i'm not going to need...and pick up our suitcases and what have you that day and go back to the hotel to rest..

I am holding out on fh, I told him that I want out first time in our home to be our wedding night..I want the whole carry me over the threshold in my wedding gown thing, so we are going home..

going home, nothing like sleeping in your own bed after a busy day
