SERIOUSLY- Is the 80's look coming back?

LORD I HOPE NOT!!

For those women on this board that were born in the 80's they missed out on all the lovely, non-flattering, manly, criss-crossed,vertical, puffy, horizontal, horrible fashion!

I refuse to wear it! NOPE! NOPE! Just can't do it!

One of the Bride magazines this month had a dress that looked like the Christian LaCroix knockoff that I HAD TO HAVE for my 9th grade prom... the big pouf skirt. I was like... uh oh...

On the OTHER hand... I could get down with some ripped sweatshirts and lace bike shorts. MAN did I think I was hot! Or maybe I just thought I was Madonna....

I work with a girl, who is a little on the plump size...

She is soooooooooo stuck in the 80's she reminds me of MIMI from the Drew Carey Show... Not kidding 20 LBS of purple eye shadow... it is insane...

I like leggings. I like leggings with cute short skirts... but no big hair... no big bunchy socks...

And NO skinny leg jeans... they do nothing for me.

I agree with you!!!!! Although born in the 80s, I didn't get into the fashion until late 80s, early 90s, but what I see lately. I don't want to repeat!!!! Jeans and a t-shirt are perfect for me!

I got busted in high school for wearing a long Irish Fisherman's sweater and calling it a dress. It came halfway down my thighs and I stuck a belt on it... but somehow they figured me out and my mom was LIVID that I was caught at school without pants!
