Commack Wedding Center-vent

Oh I cant stand them there. There was a dress there that I LOVED and would have probably bought, had not the workers there been so rude and nasty. How do you hate your job that much? Goodness...

they were soo snobby
a friend of mine went there too and she is hispanic they kept staring at her and making comments at the other staff and laughing at her

I know...and it ***** cause I loved that gown!!! Oh well, I suppose it was a message...it was a choice between two and I told them- 'you made up my mind for me'. Not going back anymore.

i had the same experience. I went there twice, just because they have such a large selection to try on.

There is 1 woman there that is sooooo nice- her name is Helene.
She helped me the first time, but when I went back to look at more, she was already helping someone else, so another (older) woman helped me and she was TERRIBLE. The worst service I've ever received at ANY store, much less a store where I'm going to drop $1000. She brought me 3 dresses that were not what I requested (she brought me poofy pickup gowns - I liked plain skirts, a-line.) The saleslady was obviously frustrated, and started talking to the other employees instead of helping me. THEN she started eating!!! The place opens at 12 - I was there at 12:15 - you mean to tell me she had her lunch break already?!

My SISTER finally said enough is enough and started pulling dresses for me. I loooooved the FIRST ONE my sis brought me, and you won't believe what the saleslady said - 'OHHH, I saw that one, but I figured you wouldn't want to try it on because it would be too small to close and you would feel really big and heavy.'

WHATTTTTT?!?! First of all, it wasn't a 4. It was a 10! And yes, I couldn't close it in the boobie area, but it fit over my hips and I could very easily get an accurate feel for the look.

I ended up ordering that dress - but NOT from the Wedding Center. I won't give them a cent of my money after the way I was treated, and I have told all my friends to steer clear.

if you know the designer, you can get the gown someplace else! Doesn't matter if they don't stock the sample.

older woman, reeked of cigarettes, blondish/white hair and glasses.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. Sometimes sales associates really do ruin it for customers.

hmmm, OK I ask b/c FH's aunt who he doesn't even like lol (she is married in, not blood related, but now they are divorced so she is not really related at all) but she works there and she is such a witch!!!!! i was wondering if it was her. i hate her-- she is so mean!!! even to us!!! ETA: but I don't think that's her b/c she has red hair-- but if anyone sees a woman there with red hair-- STAY CLEAR!!!!!!!!

yeah they probably are-- i was just wondering b/c i hate her! she is even mean to her own niece and nephew-- FH went back to school to become a DR. and she's like you are going back AGAIN??? SO mean!!!

I almost had to get BM dresses there but Fantasia Bridal honored there price for me so I am going there. That's where I got my dress.

Too funny...I felt like a little kid with mean people babysitting me!! I just dont understand...if I was so miserable Id find a different job!

Who was the designer? Can you order it from Gownfind or go to another salon?

BTW our experience there was awful as well.

I had a similar experience at the commack wedding center , the womans naem was barbra , she was so so with me , but she did tell me i was a big girl too, as if i dont know im not a string bean.. Trying on weddings gowns is like going for bikinsis unless your a negative zero to begine with , they run wayy small, & on top of that ihave her tellin me this.. But i liek dthe dress & it was cheep,,

needless to say , i got fed up with the , off ness & ordered it else wheres, plus i pankied by the reviews on here too,

I have heard nothing but negative things about that place! I am SO glad I did not go there!!!! I was going to check them out for my BM's dresses because I know they have decent prices and I did not want the girls to spend a lot on their dress, but thank goodness we found it somewhere else for an excellent price! I am so sorry you all had such a bad experience! You would think the manager or something would read all these bad reviews and do something about their service!

I have heard many negative things about this place. I want to tell you more about my experience, but I have to wait for my BM dress to come in. The guy is always on here so I am afraid that something will happen. It is already coming in late enough!
