Do you write shower thank-yous to just the woman who attended....or the woman *AND* her husband/family (if that's how she signed the card)?

I would've thought I would just write the card to the woman who attended (especially because I would write 'Thanks so much for coming etc!'), but a lot of the women signed the card with their name PLUS their husband and kids names (if they have kids).

So do I address the thank you to the whole family (for those who signed the card that way)?

(other problem is.....some of the cards got packed away with the gifts already in the whirlwind, so I don't have an accurate recording of ALL of the cards. )

You just thank the female and any of her children who attended. Your FH does not sign the note - the shower was for you (even though it also benefits your FH down the road).

OK, so even if 'Jane' signed the card on the gift from 'Jane, John and little Tommy,'

on the thank-you card, I would just write:

'Dear Jane,'

and thank her for coming and for the lovely gift. ?

and also, even though the cards were addressed to both me and FH, I don't put his name on the thank you?

I wrote my thank you to whoever the card was signed by.

DH did not sign his name but I made sure to include him in the thank you like 'Rob and I will have great use of....', or similar to that.

I thanked everyone who gave the gift (Dear jack & jill). I also signed it love...my name & fiance's name. I felt although the party was for me, it is still for both of us and our future.
