RP'06-I Forgot To Number My RSVPs......UPDATED WEDNESDAY

My Sister called me today to tell me she got my invite and how beautiful they are... I was so happy!!!

Then.... She asked if I only forgot to number her RSVP.... I said, 'NO!!!!!' I forgot to Number ALL of Them!!!!!!


I can't believe I did this... This whole time I've been trying to make things easier for myself, and now I go and do this. My problem is, is that I didn't put a

Line on the RSVP... It only says...

____ Accepts with Pleasure

____ Declines with Regret

I was planning to number them and I can't believe I forgot..

DID anyone ever run into this problem??? I have a funny feeling I'm going to be making ALOT of phone calls....



Please tell me that people will write their name or something.....

Hopefully people will, but just go by the return address label to help narrow down the possibilities.

Don't worry, it'll be OK!!!!! Most people will know to write their name someplace on the card. And a lot of my guests also put return address labels on the envelopes so I knew who was responding before I even opened them!!

Yes, you might have to make a few phone calls but it's really nothing to freak out over!!!!!

I did it but really because FH's family has so many jr's I thought it would just be easier but I'm sure we could have figured it out if needed by the postmark or something...

Don't stress...nobody forgot to put a name or wrote illegible...now when they don't come back in time is when you can stress!!

Yeah, I would just look at the return addesses...your gonna be just fine!!

its okay gina...you will be able to figure it all out. most people will know to put their name on them.

yikes- are we supposed to write the guests names on the RSVP cards?

Don't stress too much Gina. Every single RSVP I got back had a name written on it. The only RSVP I couldn't understand was the one that had both the 'accept with pleasure' and 'decline with regret' lines marked with an X.

Well I got my first 6 RSVPs today!!!!

And out of the 6, 4 RSVPs had their names on it... The other 2 say they're coming, but I can't figure out who they are.... This should be interesting!!!!

well, just wait until the end and call EVERYONE you haven't heard from for sure and just blame the USPS and say you only received a few of them....all far later than the postmark date.
