A co-worker of mine just got married there and raved about it. food was great, service was excellent. I just visited there last week and was very impressed with everything. It was a final contender but I think that we are going to go with a mansion instead.

Actually, since there are not many of us girls getting married in westchester, I would love know if you have found any awesome venders in westchester. we will be getting married in white plains and not really sure what vendors to use.

I was married there last August and it was amazing. Everyone raved about the food, especially the cocktail hour. Everything ws perfect. People are still talking about my weding.

For flowers, I highly recommend Arcadia Floral in Mammaroneck. My centerpieces were amazing!

Definitely Arcadia for flowers...they did mine as well. I also used Regency Studios in New Rochelle for video and photos. They were awesome!!!!!

Oh good, I love hearing good reviews about the VIP!! Thanks! I'm actually using J &R flowers in Woodbury b/c they gave me a really amazing price for what I wanted and he had exactly what I wanted but a bunch of my friends have used Westchester Floral and Arcadia and loved them (although Arcadia is really expensive).... My sister used Fantasy Flash in westchester or the bronx (can't remember) and absolutely loved them (she just got married in May 06) and another friend of mine used Lasting Impressions Photo in the Bronx for her wedding this past november and raved about them as well. If I come across any other vendors in westchester I'll let you know! Where is your wedding?

Also for a DJ, Big Apple in Larchmont is wonderful. They did a great job at our wedding!!

I have been trying to find reviews and pics of the VIP as well....getting married there in March 07. Would love to hear more about past brides experiences and any avail photos.

Because I don't live in Westchester (Im from there and my parents live there) and my wedding planner is from Jersey I went with a mixture of Jersey/Brooklyn vendors....our DJ goes practically anywhere - Dash of Class - heard they are really good and was very impressed with what I saw (plus my friend had them at her wedding.)

Thanks for all the vendor info. I am getting married at the CV Rich Mansion in White Plains (aka The Women's Club of White Plains). I heard Arcadia is really expensive also and I really want to do the flowers at a local place.
I have pics of VIP that I took when I was there. They were setting up for a wedding. I will try to upload them when I go home. btw, I noticed I am getting married the day before you- let's hope it is nice enough outside for an outdoor ceremony which is what I am hoping for!

tbone...yes, Arcadia is quite pricey. Here is a name of a local girl who has a small shop but good prices.....Flowers by Laurie. She is in White Plains and does a lot of work for Kittlehouse in Chappaqua. Her # is 997-0095, Maria.

There is also Cattage Gate Flowers on Gedney Way which is right near CV Rich. 997-7892. I work at White Plains Hospital so we use a lot of these services. Good luck.....

Also, Omega, my friend just used Lasting Impressions in the Bronx and loved them.

I have never been there but a friend of mine went there and she said that it was the best wedding that she had ever been to! She couldnt get over how amazing it was there!

hi i just wanted to let u know that my grandgather owns the Vip Country Club in new rochelle and it is a great place to get married!!! also they have really good food ... (concider having the wedding inside and outside.. my favorite) well congrats and i hop u have a great wedding
