I got good news on my wedding (3 days away)

But my parents don't think so, what do you think?

There are supposed to be 2 weddings at a time at the Watermill but the other event canceled. My parents think they will be a little understaffed now since they can't flip people from event to event.

Me, I'm happy to have the place to myself.

Are they overreacting, or am I naive?

It's nice you have the whole place to yourself...but they won't be understaffed....it'll be perfect. There was another wedding going on for mine but they seperate the arrivals and exits so you enter and leave alone...

They will NOT be understaffed...if anything, there will be more staff there...not necessarily more waiters...but more 'managment like' staff...we were the ONLY wedding that morning/afternoon at the Swan Club....even so, all the MDs were present and making things run smoothly...they all had to work our 1 wedding in some way...even if just directing guests who wandered off. It probably helped to ensure that our wedding moved smoother than any other!

That's awesome news for you! (Not for the other bride, I guess...but great news for you!)

There staff that counts (waiters, bartenders, MDs, bridal attendants) don't go back and forth between weddings or anything, and this way the kitchen staff only has your food to focus on!

they shouldnt be worried you should be happy you will get the whole place to yourselves. that is what happend to us for my wedding at the fh and we got to take picts everywhere. They were definetly not understaffed on that day either if anything they will have a few more people working and paying attention to your party. enjoy your day!!!! good luck!!!!!
