Okay... another question... How do you know how many favors to order?

For a guest list of 200 people...

of course, not all will come.

one per couple, but not all are couples.

How many do I order to be safe that I'll have enough? I have to stop procrastinating. They need time to make them, so I can't wait to get back the RSVP's.

This is what I'm ordering:

Re: Okay... another question... How do you know how many favors to order?

I love this favor!

Advice from a 'wedding newbie': Order about 200 if you can. Though some guests are coupled and will only need one, you should play it safe just in case a few break or something.

The bright side of having left overs is that you'll have a beautifully decorated Xmas tree!

But that's just my non-expert opinion! HTH

i'd probably order 100, that way you'll have plenty for the couples and non couples and enough left over in case a few break...cause yes not all 200 people can come. cute favor!

Those are beautiful Sarah! I think the standard is- as many invites as you send out is as many favors you order.

Re: Okay... another question... How do you know how many favors to order?

i am inviting 200, ordering 100 favors

my family always finds people to give them to - for example, maybe my mom can't invite one of her friends so she will bring them a favor when she goes to show them the pictures or something

hth!

that's what I did... I have 190 on my guest list (plus 9 maybe's from work... 'B' list I guess). 109 invites. I padded it a bit and went with 125 invitations. Figure a few extra won't hurt. .

Thanks everyone!

i agree...we did CDs and I made enough for half the 'guest list' as I needed to make them prior to getting all the RSVPs. We used 1 per couple and 1 per 'single' guest. We had extras for surprise last minute YESs and for some that got lost and broken in the shuffle.

Re: Okay... another question... How do you know how many favors to order?

well figure couples and families. I did 1 per family , 1 per couple and if someone brought a guest i gave them one as well. No one under 18 got a favor.

Re: Okay... another question... How do you know how many favors to order?

i love your favor

I would get about half of the number of guests you're inviting and then add 10-15 on top of that. if you're giving one per couple.

This way in case some get damaged , etc.

plus if you end up with extras they'll be great for your christmas tree anyway.
