I am going to get my marriage license - Update Urghhhhh

Yayyyyy, FH And I are going today as soon as they open. I told him once we do this, we are officially 1/2 married. He told me to stop getting ideas from LIW.

Update:
My dopey FH had the hositpal birth certificate and not the NYS birth certificate so we couldnt do it. Sometimes I wonder if they are born with brains.

HE CAN GO ACROSS THE HALL (DEPENDING ON TOWN YOU AR ARE IN ) AND GET A CERTIFIED COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE... OR HE CAN USE PASSPORT AND LICENSE

I ran into that problem too. My parents were never given a NY State certified birth certificate when I was born. When we went to apply for my passport years ago, we had to deal with the issue then, so my raised seal certificate is dated from 1999 when I took it in to get our marriage certificate.

Nope the lady at town hall that is for show and not legal. We have to call some number she gave to my FH and they charge $35. Sorry I dont have the number but if you need it let me know and I will get it from him

Town of Hempstead. They are super nice ladies there.

Babylon Town Hall on Sunrise Highway. But now I see that he can use him baptism certificate which I know he has because we need it for the church. I am going to call first because I cant keep missing work and not get things accomplished.
