June 30th,2007-Jericho Terrace-Date for sale

Hello,

I have canceled my wedding contract with the Jericho Terrace for 6/30/07 and am in search for a new hall.

I was booked in the Penthouse Room with a minimum of 200 guests for 8pm.

If anyone is interested please FM me as soon as possible!

can i ask why u cancelled your contract with jericho terrace- did u find a new hall?

i canceled my contract because i had an issue with my BM.

I am still looking for a hall! I have more than 9 months to go and really do not want to change my date.

I have looked at these places so far and ranked them which i like the best:

1)St. Regis- Gorgoues and amazing but dont know if i want to pay so much!
2)Brooklyn Botanical Garden- Booked!
3)Essex House- Really Nice but still on the high side
4) Oheka Castle- Really Romantic

My FH and I will decide this week where we re-book and ill post it in my profile!

I could really use the money JT is holding from me for my down payment on the next hall

PS - I've heard that the food at the Essex House (for the money) is not worth it....

yeah whats the deal with jericho terrace- lately i've seen alot of posts about them cancelling!!! its crazy!!!

I dont know why so many people have been cancelling prob. due to their own personal issues. Mine isnt, its an issue with JT and with a BM there. I still think JT is wonderful and the place itself is absolutely gorgoues. I just wish they had treated me and my FH with the same respect we gave them.

sometimes when people have a specific problem they will trash the whole place and make other brides feel horrible. . .

Oh i wouldnt trash JT only because i had a bad experiance w/someone there...Im just hoping someone rebooks my date!

The fact still remains that is a place that is truly beautiful and the food is mmmm good.

Have you tried posting on CraigsList.com, there is a lot of traffic on that site and also other local wedding forums maybe? I really hope someone books that date JT is so popular, someone is bound to book. Now, when someone inquires to JT about June 30th do they say it's available or are you trying to sell the date on your own then you will tell them you want to cancel?

Thanks i will look into Craigslist. I assume when people call them they say its available i cancelled my contract with them so the day is open but whether or not they are saying its open to other people is a completele mystery to me.

we looked at Jericho errace and loved it , we have just a few more places to look at but I think we are leaning that way, to bad i'm 2008, well I will need the time.
