FH and I are going on a cruise on Monday...please pray for good weather and NOOOOO HURRICANES!!

We are going on Carnival to Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, & Tortola - 8 days...can't wait just worried about these STUPID hurricanes!!

I took that same cruise. Carnival Legend? Are you leaving from NY?

We had a really terrible time and actually got a free cruise out of it.
See what happen was the sailing before ours, well someone jumped off the boat and they had to perform a search and rescue operation. Unfortunately, the person was never found but our sailing was delayed a whole day and the atmosphere after everything we went through to get on the boat was terrible. PPL were very moody and well because we lost a day our itinerary changed and didn't get to go to tortolla plus our time was cut short on all the other Islands. We only got 50.00 a person back and my FH was soo mad. He didn't really like the ship either. We was on the Carnival Glory before this and he loved that ship so much better.
We went to grand turk instead and there was really nothing to do there

GOOD LUCK and I hope you have a better experience then we did.

My FH thought that the boat was too narrow. There wasn't a ton of room to lay out and it felt like everyone was on top of each other.

We also experienced that there was no real parties at night on the deck. No music or games.
In all we thought there was really nothing to do.

The night we went to the club it wasn't all there great either.

I truly hope you do have a GREAT TIME!
Just thought I would give you a heads up.
It might have just been my sailing.

i have been on Celebrity 2 times, and it was wonderful, the service was out of this world. March of 08 we are trying royal carribean wich is affliated with Celebrity
