BIG BOOBS and a strapless gown.
Is anyone wearing a strapless gown and is well endowed in the breast area. How are you handling this????I'm a little concerned that they won't hold up.
Any suggestions????

Re: BIG BOOBS and a strapless gown.
Mine is strapless too. I'm not HUGE but I'm still a little concerned because I don't want to have the problem that a lot of brides do where the dress stands up and away from the chest instead of laying flat. If you have a good seamstress though this shouldn't be a problem because the way to avoid/correct that problem is to have the seamstress keep pinching in the sides at the top until it lays flat.So long as the top comes up high enough everyone SHOULD be able to go strapless but if your dress is strapless and you're concerned (like me) just make sure to keep on top of it and make them fix it till it fits the way it should.
My sister has a big chest and she didn't want to worry about it so she just found a gown that had straps. There's always that option too!

Re: BIG BOOBS and a strapless gown.
I'm getting cups put in, plus i got a gown with a sweet heart kneck line. It doesn't make my boobs stick out that much. I also think if you get it pulled in tight on the top that might help also.

Re: BIG BOOBS and a strapless gown.
This was one of the reasons why I did not get a strapless gown.
Maybe your seamstress can put little buttons or something similar inside the top of your dress, so that during the reception you can attach straps to the dress if you are feeling too uncomfortable or to just give you piece of mind. Good luck!!

My sister and one of my BM are well endowed and they both wore long line bras and didn't seem to have a problem.

Re: BIG BOOBS and a strapless gown.
A lot of brides with 'larger chest' wear strapless without a problem. You just need to wear a good strapless/long line bra. I opted for an off-the-shoulder. It looked better on me.

Re: BIG BOOBS and a strapless gown.
i think stapless would be fine ...as long as the dress is altered properly to fit... it should be perfect

Re: BIG BOOBS and a strapless gown.
I was concerned with this and thought I would never wear anything strapless, but it really looked so good on me. It is all about the fit of the dress and the support.

I am as you say 'well endowed' LOL !!! My dress is strapless and I feel fine in it. Get a really good bra. If you are near patchoguue go to Blums on main street...They are awesome.

Re: BIG BOOBS and a strapless gown.
34 DDD here. I had a strapless with detachable spaghetti straps that were for show. I had a long line strapless bra, and then my dress also had a corset (actually 2, one on the inside, and one on the outside). But I'm sure one is enough. I just had 2 since I added the outside one at the last minute. Anyways, I was totally fine and felt completely held in.

Re: BIG BOOBS and a strapless gown.
I have very big boobs and i didnt get a strapless only because they made the twins look even larger. The seamstress could always sew the bra, i think they are called stays, so the bra is attached and it wont seperate.

Re: BIG BOOBS and a strapless gown.
I was so worried about this. I am a 'well endowed' girly wearing a strapless. I picked a gown that looks like it is straight across but is actually arched up. Because of my bobies it looks like it lies straight. I was so worried b/c I loved my dress but all others I had tried on had too much (and for me that was any) cleavage. My dress is also a corset in the back but I think with the right bra will not be a problem.
