Thinking about booking with Patken

Does anyone have a favorite photog there?
We went to the Mineola location if that helps.

We have requested Steve. A bunch of my friends used him and were happy. Others that many have posted good reviews on were Vinnie and of course the owner (Doug). To get the owner you have to pay more I believe.

I requested Steve also because he did my sisters wedding. He was great like always. Ofcourse if you can afford Doug, he's the best.

I requested Vinnie. My future sister-in-law used him and I love her pics. Also, there are a lot of reviews written about him. If you search this site, you will see most reviews of Steve, Vinny and Doug (owner). Doug takes awesome pics but I think he is like an additional $2500 on top of what they are already charging you.

I have also read good reviews about Nick.

Did they mention to you about e-pics? Supposedly, you cannot choose what photographer you want until after you take those. I got my e-pics done and was not satisfied with who they assigned me to so they were very understanding and I requested Vinny and it is history from there.

Also, they will schedule a meeting with the photographer you book with. They are so personable.

I almost booked with patken but went with Duet instead (strictly because the package had more to offer...i LOVED both photographers thought).... At Patken I was set on having Steve.... He did a wedding that I went to and I loved the shots he framed. My sister was in the wedding and said that he was SUPER nice and great to work with.

I used Steve from Patken, OMG! So amazing. We actually got an amazing price but that was over 2 years ago. Our second choice would have been Duet but we just loved Steve. We get our album in two weeks! CAN'T WAIT!!

vinny is my photographer. we just went 2 weeks ago for ur e-pics and they came out great! vinny also just did my friends brothers wedding and the photos are amazing!

i actually requested vinny when i signed the contract...they just marked it on the contract.

I'm using Steve. My brother used Vinny but he was booked the day of our wedding! I hear great things about both!

steve is fantastic - had him for my wedding and he is the nicest wedding photographer i have ever met.

vcery talented and we had a proof album in hand by the time we returned from our one week honeymoon! makes a difference!

We used Nick and our pictures were amazing. Some are in my album. I highly recommend Nick!

We had Steve for our wedding. Doug took our epics.

Steve has such a relaxed and funny personality; it was great working with him. Our proof were ready when we got back from our honeymoon. Some of our proofs are in our community album as well as our epics.
