Will be traveling right after thanksgiving...

we are finally going on our 1st anniversary trip ( which was in July) -..... WE are going to Thailand!~!! Cant wait ...although the 20 hour flight is a toughie. Ordered new luggage as our last set literally fell apart. Oh well! now we sprung for some better quality stuff. And ordered 'travel' clothes from Travelsmith. Made with Coolmax, and wrinkel resistance and you can mix and match. Makes packing easier since u r packing less ( so we can bring home more items from Thai!)...and then when we get home we can use the items for work! starting to get a bit excited. Will be out of the country(gotta love it!) from 11/24 through 12/7. back on the 8th!) Jsut in time to gear up for the holidays. Think it is too early to string up my lights around my windows? (traditionally done the weeknd after thanksgiving) would like to come home to a house that is lit up!

Phyl!!

I'm so glad you are finally taking that trip! Good for you! You must be so PSYCHED! I can't wait to hear everything when you get back! What the heck - string up the lights if you have time before you go - less to do when you get home!!

Have fun....

And if you don't mind, please let me know how the flight is, I'm suppose to go next year but I am not looking forward to that flight. My mother in law always comes back with a ton of jewelry, its really cheap over there, enjoy and getting working on those lights

lee and annie

Thanks Lee- WOW! what a memory! Yes I am FINALLY going. Really, really did not think we were going to make this trip tis year... but again, at the eleventh hour, it is a go. Ordered some travel clothes from travelsmith.com that is wrinkle free, and made w/ Cool max which is supposed to wick away moisture. 90's an humid, I am told...and women cannot wear shirts w/o a sleeve of some sort..and cannot wear shorts! So, 2 polo dresses,2 cool max T's, 2 skirts, 2 shirts/jackets, 2 pairs of pants.. swimsuit, sarong and the fundementals. That is it! Regarding the shopping- what have you heard Annie? (I am leaving lots of rm in my suitcase!) I heard Silks, and inlaid lacquerware. Not really looking for lacquerware- maybe a jewelry box or 2. Any hints?
