Kid table, opinions needed plz

Kid table, opinions needed plz

We are having a kids table with about 10 kids, I was thinking instead of putting a flower centerpiece I would put a basket of things to keep the kids busy, crayons, coloring books...etc.

My concern is the table will look different in pics but I am afraid the kids will knock down the centerpiece as they are tall with candles.

What do you ladies think??

You're right about the knocking the candles down. I think your basket idea is great! It'll look just fine in the pictures... like a kids table

I think that's a great idea! I have learned that most kids no matter what age-love to dance and hang out with the adults-this may actually keep a few kids occupied and some parents a little more relaxed.

we had a kids' table at our wedding.

i had the table set up after dinner. this way each parent can supervise dinner and then, when parents might want to dance a little... the table was set up. this way all the 'wedding stuff' was over and done with, and they could just hang out.

i had crayons, colored pencils, coloring books, blank paper, puzzles, cards, craft project (that was not going to ruin 'good clothes').

I think it is great! I am having 2 kids tables and putting them... kind of in the back. I am planning on buckets of 'cookie flowers' (you can see them in my album) as the centerpieces. I am also hiring a babysitter and instead of regular favors will be giving them goody bags from the dollar store. It will be FINE in pics!
