Went MOB dress shopping today-- what store is good?

My mom is on a kick & want s to buy her dress... We went to a place yesterday (she found one she liked-- but today I took her to the Weddding Center in Commack-- she found another dress that she loved-- But I want her to look some more

Where else can I take her?

Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point has very large selection of dresses.

YAY! Date twin!

i took my mom to:

sugar plum= awful experience
davids bridal= tiny selection
bridal reflections= crazy ballgowns and $$$
my daughter's wedding= AMAZING

Oooh, this is a good thread.... we haven't done the MOB dress yet.

where is my daughter's wedding.... it's obviously really hard to find with a google search... almost 2 million hits!!!

its on middle neck road in great neck (on the right hand side heading north)

take either LIE or northern state to lakeville road and head north. lakeville road turns into middle neck road once you pass over northern blvd. its up a ways on the right. ask for sandy, she was amazing with my mom.

I would definitely suggest Omnibus in Babylon. We also had a great experience at Sugar Plum but that was awhile ago, so maybe things have changed.

My mom looked at dresses at Bridal Suite in Centereach, Fantasia, and Helen's (Wedding World). They all were very nice.

She wound up buying her dress at Metamorphasis in St. James. She said they had an awesome selection, the staff was wonderful, and they had the dress she wanted for cheaper than the other stores.
They don't do alterations there, though. My mom is using Ingrid in East Setauket for her alterations (they are great so far too).
