My Wedding Day and Vendor Review
I just got back from my honeymoon in Hawaii and I wanted to post all my vendor reviews for everyone.I got married on June 1, 2002 at Villa Lombardis. Villa was absolutely outstanding. Everything was perfect and their staff is so wonderful, you have nothing to worry about.
Flowers by Burton was amazing. I had all red roses for my bouquet and white for the bridesmaids. They were gorgeous and the centerpieces were fabulous. I had a combination of tall and short red rose centerpieces and I had added 2 xtra dozen roses to the tall ones, they were breathtaking. By the way, Burtons only uses black magic roses for the red and they were gorgeous. They held up amazing.
My band was Arcadia from LI Paramount, absolutely wonderful. I had so many compliments throughout the night about how good they were, we were extremely happy.
We used All Star Limos and had an 8 passenger and the 24 passenger Excursion. They were on time, polite, clean cars and very helpful, I would definitely recommend them.
We used Imagine Studios for our photo and video. Lia and Nelson are amazing. I haven't seen the pictures but I know they will be wonderful. They area pleasure to work with. They took so many pictures and were just the happies people to be around. Very professional. We went to the Oakdale Arboretum to take pictures, which was beautiful.
We stayed in Hawaii for 11 nights, 3 at Kauai and 8 at Maui. We stayed at the Hyatt on both islands, which were great. Hawaii is amazing, it is definitely expensive but well worth the money. I'll be happy to give any additional info I can. I probably have forgotten vendors but this is the basics for right now. Good luck to all the brides.

Congrats and all the best to you and your new hubby. My wedding is in 46 days and I am using Imagine as well, it is good when other brides give such reviews about vendors that you are using.May you and your DH have many years of happy togetherness

Re: My Wedding Day and Vendor Review
Congrats! We'll be in Hawaii this fall, and booked the Hyatt on both Maui and Kauai - did you get free room upgrades? As of now we have the garden view rooms, but I've heard they usually bump you up, so it's a waste of money to pay for the better rooms. How was the Hyatt on Maui? I've heard amazing things about the one on Kauai, but a few mixed reviews for the one on Maui. (nothing horrible, just that it wasn't as nice as Kauai)
I can't wait to go!

The Hyatts are wonderful. We had a mountain view on Kauai and did not get an upgrade because they were booked. But they did give us a bottle of champagne and strawberries and coupon for dessert at their Italian restaurant, Donderos. We hada full ocean view in Maui so we didn't need an upgrade. The Hyatt in Kauai is breathtaking, absolutely wonderful. The one in Maui is just as beautiful but more like a 'hotel' then the one in Kauai but we loved both of them. You will not be disappointed.
The food at both of them is amazing. We ate at Tidepools and Donderos at the one in Kauai. We had free breakfast everyday at both hotels, which is great, if you have it.
You will have an amazing time. If I can give you any other info, please let me know.
