What books should I read during my honeymoon?

Hello all! I am planning many lazy hours by the pool, and am looking for some good book recommendations. Nothing that requires too much thought, or that is depressing. Something emotional and romantic would be great. Any suggestions for books that make you feel all warm and fuzzy?

I don't have any warm and fuzzy recommendations, but I recently read and recommend The Pact by Jodi Picoult. It's a real attention grabbing story, and I had a lot of trouble putting it down.

I second the opinion on The Pact! I thought it was awesome! I also loved Summer Sisters by Judy Blume....Easy reading and so enjoyable! I always loved Judy anyway...my fave!

oh wow - summer sisters is an amazing old school book! I suggest A Prayer for Owen Meany and why not some Harry Potter!

ok if you really want old school, a great book is Gone with the Wind. I read it on vacation last year and couldnt put it down. But then again, I also love the movie.
Also check out Shes Come Undone and I Know This Much is True by Wally Lamb (not love stories, but just great books)

'Tara Road' by Maeve Binchy -- This was an Oprah Book Club selection -- I only read it because I was at the airport and had a layover and needed something to read. I loved the cover of the book (good reason to read it right LOL

But I couldn't put it down -- I read it in a couple of days.

Yabbo - The Divine Secrets of the Yaya Sisterhood is one of my all-time favorite books. I also really enjoyed Memoirs of a Geisha.

These books aren't emotional or romantic but great summer reads:

Switcheroo by Olivia Goldsmith (LOL Funny!!)
also Marrying Mom by Olivia Goldsmith

The Stephanie Plum Series by Janet Evanovich
They are numbered One for the Money, Two for the Dough, etc. Hard Eight just came out. You don't need to read all of them or in order but there are great characters and hilarious situations.

Oh, boy, this is my category!
Some of my recent favorites:

The Red Tent (loosely based on Biblical story of Dinah and the women of her time)

Under the Tuscan Sun (non-fiction story of Americans renovating a manor house and adjusting to life in Tuscany)

Like Water for Chocolate (an oldie but a goodie...love story/fairy tale...read it about a dozen times)

Gone with the Wind (again!)

Christine, how funny, I am reading 'Switcheroo' now! The book is hilarious. Also, another vote for 'The Pact' by Jodi Picoult. I loved that book, could not put it down. As far as old school, go with the Count of Monte Cristo by Andre Dumas, its one of my favorites!
